Joe Anderson (senior) 7th Dan passed away in the early hours of Friday 30 October, after losing his battle against cancer.
Joe aged 78, dedicated the last 45 years to the martial arts and was the founder of Toyakwai Karate.
Joe (Junior) wrote in his e-mail to members,
“Joe was always asking me about all the karate clubs and the competitions right up to the end. Joe was a martial arts for 45 years and enjoyed every minute of it. To all the old members and new you was always in this thoughts.”
Details of the funeral will be sent out in the next couple of days.
